Kitchen for a Food Stylist

After years of working in her dated small kitchen, a recipe developer and food stylist finally decided it was time to turn her “home office” into a beautiful space to both work and live.

Removing a chimney hiding in wall cavity allowed the kitchen to grow by 2 feet. Dropped ceiling and soffits were removed adding to the sense of spaciousness. New french doors welcome south light and access to the deck and garden. Materials such as marble, handmade Fireclay tile, brass hardware and vintage lighting all contribute to a timeless aesthetic.
