Second Time's a Charm
We collaborated on a remodel with this design-savvy family several years ago. When they moved into a new home, they decided to take their time with a remodel instead of rushing into it. They spent a couple of years contemplating the changes they wanted to make. When they were ready, we were thrilled to work with them again!
At the heart of this transformation was the kitchen—a space that felt cramped and inefficient. While they appreciated the overall layout, they needed better flow and functionality. We worked together to reimagine the space; upgrading cabinetry and countertops, repositioning the refrigerator, and adding a custom-built pantry. Relocating the doorway to the garage was pivotal in providing more functional space. The doorway previously located in the center of the kitchen chopped up the flow and left little to no useful space around the range. Moving the doorway also allowed for a mudroom which now bridges the connection between the garage, kitchen, and basement stairs.
Thoughtful upgrades throughout, and the homeowners' dedication to choosing high quality materials as focal points, transformed their home into a beautiful space, reflecting their lifestyle and effortlessly connecting to the way they love to live.
